In a constantly changing world, the industry must continue the same evolution, whose future revolution will bring many new challenges and new questions.
In order to better take charge of the future of the industry, the Alumni Association of Arts et Métiers, in partnership with the school Arts et Métiers ParisTech, is organizing a world-class conference on the theme “Industry 4.0, Paradigm shift”.
Under the aegis of the French Ambassador to China, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Digital Technology, and with the participation of many leading industrial leaders; 600 engineers and industrialists from all countries will take charge of the future during this event.

Arts et Métiers alumni association (Soce) is the largest association of former students of the same institute in Europe, with more than 34000 alumni from the Arts et Métiers ParisTech school. The school is also the largest in France because of its size, training more than 6,000 students per year.
Arts et Métiers ParisTech is a founding member of the “Alliance pour l’Industrie du Futur”. Created in 1780, the Arts et Métiers School is the top french mechanical, power and industrial engineering school with 8 campuses on French territory and 3 research institutes. Arts et Métiers develops cutting-edge research on the major industrial challenges of the industry of the future. The school focuses in particular on 4 main sectors: transport, health, energy and civil engineering, with 14 research laboratories and technological platforms.
Arts et Métiers ParisTech has partnerships with 9 of the best Chinese universities (Tsinghua, Beihang, Shanghai Jiao Tong, Tongji, Xi’an Jiao Tong, Harbin Institute of Technology, NUAA, University of the Southeast and Chongqing University). All these partners carry out research and innovation work and aspire to train talented engineers and researchers, as well as future managers of an industry supported by the French Future Industry and the Made in China 2025 plan.
The 2017 edition of the bi-annual congress of Arts et Métiers was held in Grenoble and had as its theme “Dare to innovate, dare to undertake”.
The 2015 edition of the biannual congress of Arts et Métiers was held in Angers and had as its theme “Innovative Processes and Energies”.
The 2013 edition of the Congress of Arts et Métiers was held in Bordeaux under the theme “Industry and Research: how engineers develop the economy”.
